It seems like Enzo is getting a bit fed up with her kittens.

Feeding the kittens their medicine was a pain but feeding mum cat her medicine was even harder. Due the the volume of medicine that she had to consume it took up a few goes.

The kittens have learned how to use the litter tray

We have had to kitten proof the room because the the little fluffers keep escaping.

The vets have given us some medicine for the two tiny kittens. It looks like ground up clay water and probably tastes worse from the kittens face.

The kittens have started playing around and running about the room.

We have got Jemaima a cat bed. She seems to like it and is matches the colour of her fur.

We have moved the kittens under the table because the are getting to adventurous and kept climbing over the walls to keep them in we made.

I went to the New Start centre to see the old cats. Most of then are very friendly but unfortunately the cat above my head has a brain tumour and will try to bite or scratch you even though he would like to be nice.

We have got the kitten a little bed. We have also hung a toy mouse from the top of the cage for him to play with. He is getting much more friendly and will plat with the hanging mouse if you be very quiet and don't disturb him.

We hold Dallas in a blanket sometimes so that he doesn't run away.

The kittens have started stumbling around and play fighting

I am planning to tame this new kitten by stroking, talking and holding him a lot. There should to the trick eventually.

This morning Enzo had an accident when she didn't have a litter tray. We had taken the tray downstairs to clean it and while we were down there Enzo needed the toilet. Like the good housetrained cat that she is she put her doings is a easily cleaned place, on the card board mat that we normally put the tray on. So in the end it ended out fine, I only hope that she doesn't make a habit of it.

We have had to block up the bottom of the sofa. The reason for this is that when Dallas makes a break for freedom he often ends up underneath it and is is a pain to get him out without hurting him.

The kittens have started getting their teeth.

Jemaima has found a funny place to sleep.

Dallas seems to be slightly less scared today. He atelier his food in front of us and didn't even hide under his blankets whenever we come into the room.

A new foster kitten came yesterday. His name is Dallas and is very scared. He hides under his blankets and claws when you pick him up.

We have put a cardboard fence around my bed so that the kittens don't fall off.

The tiny kittens have started to walk around properly-ish, instead of pulling themselves around like furry slugs. Every morning when Enzo gets out of her cage she jumps onto my bed and mewls at me to get her kittens out for her!! She has got me properly trained!!

Enzo wee-ed all over her dried cat food bag so we have had to decant all of her nut in to a large plastic box. For some reason Jemima decided she wanted to eat dried food. She pigged herself on this food and threw it all back up ten minutes later.

Jemima is a very fussy cat when it comes to food. she doesnt like the whiskers and sheba and she will eat gourmet perle and two flavour felix.

When I moved Enzo and her kittens back to the cage so that I could have a lie down, she moved  them straight back on to the back on to the bed. It is rather annoying that I can't rest on my own bed.

We have got Jemiama a selection of different foods hoping that she likes it.

I think that the tiny kittens ears seem to be pricking up.

Enzo has moved house. She has taken over my bed!! Where will I sleep? :'(

Look at these suuuper cuuute kittens!!

Lyra and Iorek went to a new home yesterday. I think they will love it with their new owners. I wonder what they are going to call them.

Our 13 day old foster kitten is trying to learn to walk.

Lyra and Iorek might be going today. Iorek is making sure to make a mess before he goes!!

Jemiama has once again forund an amusing place to sleep!!

Iorek escaped from his room last night. He clearly is board of staying in the front room. They will be going to a new home soon.

The cat ate my homework.  Okay...she ate my cookery book.  Does anyone else's cat chew stuff up?

Have we discovered a strange new species of cat?!? What do you think?

I think it would be nice if the kittens could go to a new home together.  They could keep each other company and sometimes I see them cleaning each other.  They are often very floppy and relaxed now.

Lyra let out her second purr yesterday.  The video is blurry because the microphone had to be right next to her face.

Bilaal, my youngest brother, is now allowed to stroke the mother cat properly from inside the door of the cage.  He was very happy.  Every Saturday he is allowed to do something more with the cat.  Next Saturday he will be allowed to touch the kittens, and the next week he will be allowed to hold them.

The beige and white kitten has opened his eyes.  They were just opening first thing this morning at about 7 o' clock.  It says on the internet that kittens with longer hair will open their eyes later. Because of this fact we think that the white kitten, whose eyes opened later, might have long hair like his mother.  Does anyone know if this fact is true?

Iorek fell asleep on my lap whilst I was typing my blog, I think he looks very happy and relaxed.
Lyra has found a new favourite resting spot.  She lies next to the fish tank so she can sleep and have fishy dreams at the same time.  

The black and white kitten's eyes have opened.  They opened last night at about 10pm.  Dad saw the opened eyes and thought he was the first to see them, but I was.

The kittens don't seem to mind sleeping downstairs.  We have brought the box and blanket down that they like and they usually sleep in there.

The tiny little kittens are growing at an alarming rate.  If they carry on like this they will dominate the lions.

Iorek loves having his paws squeezed and tickled.  he doesn't act like a very fierce wild cat any more!

We have decided to perminantly keep the kittens downstairs so that they don't get upset about the other cat.  I hope that it helps and that noone forgets that they are in there and lets them out.

I think that the tiny kittens are growing. They are visibly rounder and fluffier.  I didn't think that I would be able to see that much difference in 5 days.  I suppose they will grow most while they are young, a bit like humans I guess.

Today Mum went to the pet shop and got the kittens some toys.  She got them a squeaky duff-it-up toy on a fishing rod.  Iorek likes beating it up but Lyra is scared of the squeaky sound.  We have to be careful not to leave it on the floor with the kittens when we are not in the room so that they don't get t round their neck.
